Training Week 2: Astronomers

I'm afraid that I can't express with virgin joy the statement, "let's meet the stars of our show" anymore because I wrote it last week; but the giddy excitement of ycd renewed itself to me a few days ago with the arrival of a stylish logo and the knowledge that tickets for this event go on sale very soon.

The fact that tickets go on sale soon means that you can pay £4 (incidentally, the same amount of money to see a drama barn play- but more on that later) for a piece of paper and access to central hall's suitably comfortable seating for about 3 hours or so. This marathon (or anti-marathon, as you may also view it) of sitting is made more manageable with an half hour interval where you can, if you wish, stand up.

The endurance test for our ycd couples this week was made more mountainous (don't worry- this metaphor ends here; though I can't guarantee there won't be followers) when we found out that Joel, Dancesport's professional teacher, couldn't make the practice. This meant that our couples were left only with each other for dancing guidance. Hope is not lost however, as I'm joined this week by the group that came to gaze upon the stars of our show to see what they think of our couples progress in training.
