Similarly to other students, we like to party, and especially to dance! (However, since we don't teach the kind of "crowded space" dancing that you need to survive in the Gallery or Ziggy's, you'll have to figure that out for yourself.)

Anyway, everybody at Dancesport is always up for having a good time, so we meet up from time to time and simply arrange a meal, or a dance-related outing with opportunities to learn a new style of dancing, or to practise (often held at Joel's dance school, the Rock Church). This year, our aim is
to take on a few new venues, and to get as many people involved as possible, because it's always great to see a full dancefloor!

One special event this year is our ball, which will be held in the Summer Term! (Further details to follow - but it's certain to be spectacular!)

We also hold film nights, so if you don't want to go out, you don't have to. If there are any dance-related films you think we MUST see, please let us know.

We are always trying to improve our performance standard, and our hobby can be demanding, so these freestyles and social events help us to get to know each other better, and have lots of fun with dancing!
