Committee Positions

Description of Posts

President – Chair for the society, responsible for meetings, the general running of the society and training for dancers

Vice-President - Assists the president with running the society, acts as chair in the absence of the president, takes a leading roll in the administration of the society and is responsible for helping make decisions.

Treasurer – Responsible for the financial issues and working with the SU Finance Office

Team Captain – Responsible for the team and competitions, as well as training for dancers

Secretary – Responsible for minutes of meetings, society e-mails, room bookings and general admin work

Press and Publicity – Responsible for the publicity of our society. A large part of the role is organising publicity for freshers week.

Social Secretary – Looks after socials

Merchandise - Responsible for merchandise orders and the organisation of team costumes for events and competitions.

Equipment Rep - Responsible for equipment such as the CD player amongst other things.

Website Rep - Responsible for the website, updating it with pictures and lesson information.
