Week One

I remember watching the last series of SCD and thinking 'the ballroom dances look so much easier and so much more elegant than those hip wiggling latin ones'. So imagine my relief when I found out I was to be dancing the Waltz. How hard can this be? I thought, 1,2,3. That's it isn't it?

No.

After 3 hours of cutting huge arcs around L/N/028 I was absolutely shattered. When I agreed to do this, I figured it would take up a couple of hours a week and I'd be doing my bit for charity. Now I've realized that to do this dance, my partner Kate and the competition justice I'm going to have to step it up a gear!

It's humbling to read the previous comments from Messers Tyler and Flynn. However, I think there is some real competition out there.

I take comfort in the fact that, if everything else goes wrong, I will always have the memory of Dan Taylor trying to wiggle his hips at our first rehearsal.
