Week 1 - Judge's comments on first practice
Transcript from video: "Well I'm quite impressed with what I've seen today. Considering it's the first session, people are doing really well. A lot of those in there haven't danced before and the pros are doing really well to teach them. What I'd like to see more is basics, there's too many tricks in there and they need to get back to the fundamentals of whatever routine they're doing. But, it's good to have a bit of fun in there as well and I'm looking forward to seeing some of the finished results. Over the weeks it's going to get more polished and they'll be able to work on technique. People that stand out: Harriet and Henry are looking pretty strong with the Rumba. I'm also quite impressed with Tom who's dancing with Claire, as he's pretty hard on himself and he won't accept anything less than perfect, which is good. I also like the Samba, because Emily is quite creative and is trying to think of ways of looking feminine around him, without his worrying too much about the steps, yet she's getting basics in as well. So I'm really looking forward to seeing that on the night."
