Walking on the dancefloor last night was so scary. I can't imagine how scary it must have been for our celebs only having danced for 4 weeks and some of the dancesport dancers that only started dancing this year (about half of them!)

Many thanks to the celebs, their partners, Matt, YSTV, Joel and Sarah, the dancesport committee, RAG, YUSU, the courtyard and Nouse for making such a professional show that will be talked about for a long time.

I've met some amazing people - it's been a pleasure working with everyone.

Two years ago, dancesport was pretty much unheard of, so making such a big impact on campus over the past few weeks has been incredible. A massive thank you to the dancesport pros and Joel for their time commitment to both the event and the team. We shall be also be making an impact at the national comps in a couple of weeks time!!!

Everyone thought the event would be popular, but I don't think anyone expected L/N/028 to sell out in less than 3 hours. It's amazing how the word has spread across campus, but quite daunting that many eyes will be on our celebrities as they'll take to the dancefloor.

However, gazing around the room at the practice last Sunday they are all exceeding initial expectations and amazing dancing is taking place. Learning to do a dance as a non-dancer in 4 weeks is impressive enough, but our celebs have managed to achieve incredible results already.

The event was originally supposed to include lots of celebs struggling and making idiots of themselves as a great form of entertainment, but instead we have 11 reasonably competent couples. It will be a good night!
