Yes joy and wonder, as that is what this blog contains. Sorry that I haven't updated as much, but that just means that this blog will be extra wonderful.
Well
Training is well underway with the 3rd rehearsal done and dusted. Good news. ROUTINE FINISHED! Fine, there are some timing issues here and there, but we have a routine, hurray! And to say that Emily could only just about deal with a 10 second intro in the first week, huge progress has been made. Although lots of things could go wrong, and the bruise on my knee is growing with every practice, the routine promises to be a corker, providing we get it polished, which I am sure will happen. With various things going on in each of our lives at the time (skiing comp for Emily, High School Musical for me) going on the weekend of the last practice, we both turned up pretty exhausted from the start, but like the professionals we are we trooped on. We were also the first couple to have their whole routine watched by the majority of the room (I think!) which happened to me last year too ... this is a good thing. That means I will have to reach this stage first next year too, but lets not look too far ahead.
