So the competition has definitely stepped up this week. Our first rehearsal saw 11 non dancers looking like fish out of water, but it seems that 6 hours training has leveled out the playing field somewhat.

Kate and I finished learning our routine this week. Now we need to work on timing, steps, rises and falls, rythym, learn how to lead and style. So not much left to do then!

Being tied up with scarves to help correct our posture was certainly an interesting experience and my God it hurts your arms!

I remember watching the last series of SCD and thinking 'the ballroom dances look so much easier and so much more elegant than those hip wiggling latin ones'. So imagine my relief when I found out I was to be dancing the Waltz. How hard can this be? I thought, 1,2,3. That's it isn't it?
